THE GAME
How to play
I made MORSO for 1v1 games with friends at LAN parties. It is my first Dota custom game, inspired by Custom Hero OMG.
Choose your build
Pick a hero, then choose four of the 15 offered abilities. Ultimates are included. A Mulligan costs 200 starting gold and replaces the whole offer.
Play the match
Buy items, control the river and adapt your abilities during the match. The first tower or two hero kills decides it.
THE MAP
The lane and river
Neutral camps sit on both sides of the river. The upper area has two Ancient camps, a Lotus Pool and the Secret Shop.

Roshan
Aegis and Aghanim’s Blessing. One chance: he does not respawn.

Shard Wisp
Found in the mist at the bottom right of the map. Drops Aghanim’s Shard.

The river
River runes grant free ability changes. You can also buy a new ability during the match.

Questions
Is MORSO free?+
Yes. You need Dota 2 and the free MORSO Workshop subscription. No paid gameplay advantages.
Can I try it alone?+
Yes, solo practice is useful for learning the draft and testing builds. It does not count towards ranked MMR.
What happens if I disconnect?+
Reconnect if you can. A reconnect grace period and escalating abandon restrictions are being developed for verified matches. These are not active yet; the rules will be announced before activation.
Where can I report a bug?+
Leave a report in the Workshop comments. Include your hero, abilities and what happened. Please remove private information from any console logs.
